Never Mess With Grace.

For just a Mentoring Minute, let’s talk about grace. How often do we witness someone who disregards the grace of God? It might be understandable, though not excusable if someone is not a Christian. However, for those who know the Lord, there can be no excuse. To disregard the grace of God is to be no better than Satan, who thought he could be like God, instead of worshiping Him. This was the sin of presumption. It’s both stupid and sure to bring judgment. Only a fool would do this. Galatians 6:7-9 (NKJV) says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. {8} For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. {9} And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Don’t be a tool of the biggest fool there ever was – Satan. Never mess with grace! If you do, you will be responsible for your own downfall. The results will inevitably be worse than you could ever have imagined. The Bible says, “God is not mocked.” This is a biblical absolute that should be a frightening warning for anyone who entertains the temptation to try to it. I’m Dr. Bob. Never take the gift of grace lightly, and certainly never undervalue, disregard or reject it. Otherwise, you will be guilty of trying to make Christ’s sacrifice of no avail. That’s the action of someone who is doomed by his or her own foolishness.
