It’s What’s in Your Heart.

Podcast: It’s What’s in your Heart

There are God-given winds blowing through the seasons of our lives. They offer us fresh opportunities to take advantage of what they bring, as we journey toward the fulfillment of the potential God has given us. We discover and exercise our potential along the way, fulfilling it step-by-step. Having a meaningful purpose, achieving success in life and leaving a lasting legacy is at the heart of God’s plan for each of us. When God has a plan He always has a way. It’s part of God’s design for you to have a meaningful legacy of fruitfulness that remains and is well pleasing to God. The Apostle Paul called this “a walk worthy of the Lord.”

Colossians 1:9-12 (MSG)

Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. We pray that you’ll live well for the Master, making him proud of you as you work hard in his orchard. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you’ll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul – not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.”

We all have been called to be winners and champions for Jesus. The picture of your life has already been painted in God’s heart. It’s a picture of what you can be – both successful and significant. It was painted before you ever drew your first breath. So, here’s my question: What would it take for you to strengthen your view of your purpose, so that you will discover your personal path to success, while building a lasting legacy? May the Lord provide you with the wisdom and spiritual understanding to do this, so that you will fully please Him and be fruitful in everything to which you set your heart and your hand. I’m Dr. Bob. Listen to these thoughts. I put them into a poetic format.

“One heart looks up, Another looks down,

But each chooses which way to go.

It’s what’s in the heart, And not in life’s storms,

That determines the way to go.”
