I found this thought in one of my journals. It comes from a sermon Pastor David Briggs preached on June 28, 2006. I think it’s great advice for the new year: “Take a break from the fight of life and move into the fight of faith.” Here’s another of Pastor Briggs’ thoughts from the same sermon: “God’s grace is His grip on us. Our faith is our grip on God’s grace.” Take both of those thoughts into 2017 and apply them daily!
