I want to share some wisdom that Pastor Jenny Michael shared with Nancy and me. She said, “When you have been hanging by a thread, God will send you a rope.” Pastor Jenny’s words draw us to the faithfulness of God. After thinking about it, I had to add to this: When it’s beyond your strength to hang onto the rope any longer, it will be the time to hear His compassionate, caring voice, saying, “I am pleased you didn’t give up. Now, it’s time to give the problem into my hands. Relax, let go of the rope, lift your hands in praise, and grasp My deliverance.” Psalm 63:3-4 (NKJV) says, “Because your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
God’s hands are open and waiting to catch you. When you finally let go and put yourself completely in His hands, He will honor your faith and take you safely to your destiny. By letting go, you allow your weakness to find His strength. I’m Dr. Bob. Trust Him with all of your heart. Don’t hang onto your own understanding, doubts, fears… or especially, your pride. Remember, God’s ways are higher than our ways; but, His hands are always there below us, dependably waiting to catch us.
