1 Timothy 6:12 (NKJV) says, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” Here is my question. How many times will you have to fight “the good fight of faith?” …The answer is, as many times as it takes to gain your victory. Every faith fight has divine purpose. God will use of each of them to challenge you to build your faith. The challenge always offers you two ways to go. The first way is to walk onto a platform of emotional instability and fear. The second way, and the one that leads to victory, is to walk onto a platform of knowledge that you have gained from the Word of God. Every time your faith is challenged, these two platforms are available to you.
Romans 8:5 (NKJV) says, “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.” Consider this. Success in every faith fight requires putting anything that denies what God’s Word has said out of your mind and under your feet. Then, instability and fear will transform themselves into a solid path upon which you can walk in victory (according to the Spirit and the things of the Spirit). I’m Dr. Bob. Reflect on these two principles. First, you can always activate your faith and obedience. Second, you can always deactivate any fear and disobedience. Make the right choice. Then, rejoice in your victory.
