Faith is never a Game of Chance.

We take many chances in life. Sometimes we are successful and other times, we are not. We all have suffered the consequences of a failure now and then. This is because chance-taking is an act that depends on circumstances that can go either way. Chance-taking has failure built into it. This is because it is an act of our fallen human nature, which itself comes from the first failure. As they say, chance-taking is a roll of the dice. In every gamble, the odds are stacked in favor of failure, because God is not in it. Romans 8:31(NKJV)  says, “What shall we say to these things, if God is for you, who can be against you.” Then, Romans 8:37 (NKJV) says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

There is a vast difference between chance-taking and faith-walking. When you take a chance, you do it on your own. When you step out in faith, God steps out with you. Let me paraphrase Romans 8:31 and 8:37 for you. If God is in agreement with your act of faith, you will be a winner… {37} because God steps into your faith, and through love, He walks with you to victory.” I’m Dr. Bob. My advice is to stop taking carnal chances. Start relying upon a spiritual faith-walk, filled with God’s love. According to Paul, when God is with us, it is not a gamble. We are simply stepping out in faith. He certainly knew this to be true. When have you struggled with this truth?
