Let Grace fill the Potholes.

Our journeys through life have their challenges for every one of us. There will be times when your path is smooth and peaceful. At other times, it is going to be rough. These rough times can be compared to driving a car on a street full of potholes, breaks in the pavement and numerous speed bumps. The journey will be anything but smooth. Life is often like that. Nevertheless, we are called by God to keep going through the rough moments, until our paths become smooth again. We are to look past the problems and focus on the One who will take us to the solutions and beyond. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) says, “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

You can count on Christ walking through every rough moment with you. His grace will be sufficient to fill in those rough spots and potholes. He will take you over the speed bumps you find along your path through life. You can move forward in the assurance that He will be right there with you. Hang onto Him in faith, with every step you take. As you do, He will lead you out of the darkness and into the light of a new, smooth and pleasant path in a blessings-filled day. I’m Dr. Bob. Here is a final thought to confirm what you have just heard. When the resurrected Christ departed from His disciples, He gave them the Great Commission. Matthew 28:20b (NKJV), records Jesus telling them (and therefore, you) “…I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Reflect on what this encouraging truth means to you.
