When Faith went through the Roof

Jesus always is completely able to do whatever stirs His heart. When you act in faith, your faith stirs His heart. Mark wrote of a group of men who understood this. They lowered a paralyzed man through a hole they made in a roof to get him to Jesus. Their story is told in Mark, Chapter 2. Verses 3-5 (NKJV) tell us this. “Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. {4} And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. {5} When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

When the Lord’s authority to forgive sin was questioned, He commanded the paralyzed man to take up his bed and walk. Verse 12 says, “Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all…”

Listen to this. When you act in the power of agreement, it will take your faith through the roof. When you work together to bring someone who has a need into Jesus’ presence, their impossibilities will become their reality. Reflect on the power of agreement. Then, use it. What was paralyzed, captured and contained will be set free. Then, God will be glorified and the devil will be horrified.
