A Voice of Faith

Podcast: A Voice of Faith

I’m Dr. Bob and for just a Mentoring Minute I want to assure you that every time you open your mouth, you choose between two voices. First, there is the voice of doubt that says, “I doubt if God is going to help me. In fact, I doubt whether He wants to or even can help me. This situation is just too discouraging.” However, you have a second voice. This is the voice of faith. This voice says, “God is absolutely faithful. He is infinite in power and always willing to perform His Word over me.”  Let your voice of faith learn to speak the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV). It says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; {6} In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. When your voice is a voice of faith, it satisfies a condition that allows God to move on your behalf. Here is the principle. A voice of faith always comes before an act of God. Let me repeat this. A voice of faith always comes before an act of God. This is my question for you. What will your voice say when you face something bigger than you are? Remember, it is not about emotions or small thinking. It is about declaring what God has already promised in His Word… with a voice of faith! The Lord Jesus Christ is forever faithful, always able, and best of all, filled with love for you. I’m Dr. Bob, and that is a Mentoring Minute spoken with a voice of faith. You can listen to additional Mentoring Minutes at www.mentoringministry.com/blog.
