I’m Dr. Bob and for just a Mentoring Minute, I want to assure you that in the midst of each of your personal challenges, you may hear many voices. These can come in the form of reasonable, well-meaning suggestions. However, they may also be harsh, uncaring criticisms and even hope-stealing words of condemnation. Whether well intentioned or not, these voices can become the source of confusion and instability. The question you must always ask yourself is to what voice will you choose to listen? John 10:27 (NKJV) says, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Romans 8:14 (NLT) says, “For all who are led by the Spirit of God, are children of God.” When you restrict your listening to those voices that strictly adhere to and agree with the voice of the Lord, you will be secure in the outcomes of your choices. God’s voice is always the voice of promise. All His promises are true. He will not, and indeed, cannot lie. Each promise from God carries a blessing. I’m Dr. Bob. Be led by God’s voice. You will be a winner and champion. You will walk in your blessings, and your testimony will be awesome. That’s a Mentoring Minute coming from the sound of my voice, but I believe God is in it. I think you will find it worth hearing and responding to. You can listen to additional Mentoring Minutes at http://www.mentoringministry.com/blogs.
