I’m Dr. Bob and for just s Mentoring Ministry, I want to set the record straight. Today, being overwhelmed with busyness is called success. That is a deception. It will capture and ultimately will kill your joy, as it robs you of your peace. Busyness is not success. Let me share the truth about success. True success is living in a close relationship with Christ, regardless of how busy or idle you may be. It is waiting for God to move, as your Partner in your day. Unless you are walking in a close relationship with God, what you call success will actually be a hollow, empty and fruitless attempt to give meaning to your life. This will be the case because your busyness will be without His participation. Unless God is in it, it will lack any eternal fruitfulness. (John 15:4 NKJV) says, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” If you want to have good success, filled with meaning and significance, reorder your priorities. Give God the top place on your daily schedule. No, that’s not enough. Take it a step further. Make Him your partner for all the other places on your schedule. Then wait upon Him in the midst of those things. He will guide you into good success. It may take some patience, but you will see what I mean. I’m Dr. Bob.
