I’m Dr. Bob and for just a Mentoring Minute, I want to talk about the amazing power of a small seed. Did you know that when a seed is blown into a tiny crack in a rock it has the ability to take hold and secure itself? Then, it begins to grow. One day it becomes a small tree. Then, an amazing thing happens. As it continues to grow, it has the power to split the rock and make a way for itself that cannot be denied. Imagine that. A tiny tree growing in a mountain rock face can even split granite. Matthew 13:31-32 (NKJV) says, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, {32}”which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches. You can be sure that a small seed of love in the kingdom of heaven will grow into something big that will split the hardness of a person’s heart. I’m Dr. Bob. I highly recommend you allow seeds of love to have their place in your life. Let them crack open any hardness in your heart. It will do the same in others.
