I’m Dr. Bob and for just Mentoring Minute, I want to give you some heartfelt advice. It may be for today or perhaps, for some time in the future. It is good for either. Here it is. When you have tried your best but things do not seem to be going your way, don’t give up. When what seemed to be a successful effort turns sour, and you have no apparent way to fix things, don’t give up. There is an alternative to giving up. What you should do is worship and wait. Again, don’t give up. Worship and wait. Isaiah 40:31 says, “Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.” Whatever may be happening, you can be sure God desires to be at work perfecting you. All He asks is your cooperation to remain steadfast in your worship and your patience. You will probably experience discomfort. Just understand its value in the process. God will always use discomfort, or disruptions in your comfort zone to take you to new levels of championship living. Then, you will soar like the eagles, in the power of the wind of the Spirit. I’m Dr. Bob, and that’s a Mentoring Minute for champions. You can listen to my previous Mentoring Minutes at http://www.mentoringministry.com/blogs.
