I’m Dr. Bob and for just a Mentoring Minute I want to tell you about my noise-canceling headphones. For many years, I have traveled and flown around the world with them. On those long journeys, they have provided me with a quiet, peaceful zone that keeps out a lot of distracting noise. With them on, I can select what I want to hear and keep out much of the noise that would distract or disturb me. I have learned to fill this quiet zone with worship music. Then, I can rest in the Lord. While at rest in this zone, I can commune with the Lord and clearly hear what He wants to say.
