I’m Dr. Bob and for just a Mentoring Minute, I want to give you an opportunity to look at the idea of glory in a way you may never have before. The Bible says we are changing, or being transformed, from glory to glory. What can this mean? Consider what the Apostle Paul meant when he said we are to put off the old man and put on the new man. We understand he was talking about the process of voluntary Christian transformation from who you used to be to who you are becoming. In this process, as you choose to become more like Christ, you go from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) says, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Take advantage of the opportunity. Change from glory to glory. Put away your former conduct. Choose to become more like Jesus in how you think and act. Become someone who puts on garments of praise and thanksgiving, who radiates love. Then watch yourself shine for Jesus. . I’m Dr. Bob. I assure you that you will find great joy and fulfillment as you watch your new man shine for Jesus.
