I Can Sing

’m Dr. Bob, and for just a Mentoring Minute, I want to encourage you that one of the greatest gifts God has given you, even if you do not have the voice for it, is an attraction to singing. Others may wince at the sounds of your singing, but not God. When you lift your voice in praise and worship to Him, He always finds it to be a beautiful sound. You may be sure that God will listen to your songs for hours and never tire of hearing you. Psalms 104:33 (NKJV) says, “I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” When you find yourself in a troubling situation, and you are powerless to change it, there is always one thing you can do; Sing to the Lord. I want to encourage you to keep singing. Our biblical example is Acts, Chapter 16, which tells the story of Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail. In the midst of their misery, they raised their voices in worship. God’s angel came, released them from their chains and set them free. Whenever you are going through times of trouble, start singing. Hey, even when things are great, start singing. You will never sing alone, for the angels of heaven will join in. Your songs of praise and worship will release divine potential, and miracles will start to happen. I’m Dr. Bob. When you take a break from your singing, listen to my previous Mentoring Minutes at https://mentoringministry.com/news-updates/
