Tolerance? NO!

I’m Dr. Bob and for just a Mentoring Minute I want to set the record straight about the deception of tolerance. We live in a society that demands a standard of absolute tolerance for everyone who lives by their own rules, while doing their own thing. Is this good? Are we to accept tolerance? Do you know what tolerance really is? Consider this definition: Tolerance is the lack of moral strength to stand for what you believe is right in the sight of the Lord. Let’s set the record straight. The deception called tolerance is nothing but a thinly veiled disguise for allowing sinful behavior to keep people captive. I strongly recommend that you reject tolerance and do the right thin by embracing compassion. Compassion is this: Your conviction in action that leads someone to freedom from bondage, especially when his or her behavior is going to ruin his or her eternity. I’m Dr. Bob. Do not be tolerant. Instead, be compassionate. It might change someone’s eternal destiny because you cared enough not to tolerate them going to hell. Write me at www.mentoringministry.com and tell me how you did so.
